| A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot that was matured in 50% new oak for 14 months. Deep opaque dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays subtle scents of blackcurrant and mulberry with an overlay of earthy cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate delivers dark mulberry flavours followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Fine grained but dryish tannins. Aftertaste of earthy cedar, spice and a touch of leather. |
