2009 TELLURIAN PASTICHE HEATHCOTE SHIRAZ
A fresh youthful example of Heathcote Shiraz that was matured for 10 months in a combination of new and seasoned oak. Opaque black crimson purple colour with very deep crimson purple hue. Very youthful aromas of freshly crushed blackberries and black cherries followed by some liquorice and confectionary notes. Medium to full bodied with flavours of inky blackberry, confectionary, blackpepper and spice. Slightly chalky, dry, fine grained tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, spice and blackpepper.
