| Brilliant pale gold colour with pale straw hue still looking remarkably youthful. The nose displays delicate aromas of honeycomb, peach and spice followed by some dried apricot end notes. Medium weight, the palate does not possess the same level of richness and concentration or the luscious texture as that of a top vintage such as 2005. Flavours of honeycomb, spice and peach. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of honeycomb, spice and toffee. A lighter version of Sauternes. |
