2007 ZITTA OLD BUSH VINE GRENACHE
This old vine Grenache was matured for 24 months in French oak. Semi translucent mauve crimson colour with mauve brick red hue. Lifted aromas of raspberry, confectionary and liquorice allsorts followed by a hint of spice displaying good varietal character. The palate displays excellent weight and richness with mouthfilling joosy flavours of ripe raspberry, plum, confectionary, liquorice and spice displaying excellent depth. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins with long aftertaste of ripe raspberry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary. A voluptuous, rich, full flavoured Grenache.
