2007 GRASSHOPPER ROCK EARNSCLEUGH VINEYARD PINOT NOIR
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Perfumed scents of violets, dark cherry, anise and spice emerge on the nose. The palate displays good weight with flavours of dark cherry and anise followed by some spicy cedar and just a trace of stalk on the finish. Good power wave. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with long aftertaste of anise, dark cherry and spice.
