| Opaque deep purple black colour with deep purple dark red colour. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, black plum and spice with a toasty charred oak overlay. Medium weight the palate displays a somewhat elegant flavour profile in comparison to many other Heathcote producers. Flavours of liquorice, blackberry and spice followed by some toasty characters on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of toast, dark plum and spice. |
