The nose displays very good lift with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some spicy end notes. The palate delivers incredible weight, richness and concentration for a Merlot. Opulently textured with flavours of super ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and black cherry followed dark chocolate and spice. Fine grained soft tannins with a touch of heat present on the finish. Long aftertaste of black cherry, ripe blackcurrant and spice. |
