| Opaque black crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue. The nose is a touch subdued at first with aromas of black cherry, cedar and spice emerging followed by a hint of new leather. The palate displays good weight with flavours of dark cherry, very ripe dark plum and spice followed by some pepper on the back palate supported by a firm dry tannin structure giving the wine a chewy leathery mouthfeel. Aftertaste of black cherry, dark plum, spice and earth. |
