The fruit for this wine has been sourced from McLaren Vale (65%) and Coonawarra (35%). Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red mauve hue. Aromas of cedar, blackcurrant and dark chocolate are followed by a hint of cigar box as an end note. Medium to full bodied with flavours of dark chocolate, plum, spice and cedar. Good length with fine grained, slightly dryish tannins and aftertaste of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and spice.
