2007 PETER LEHMANN CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Deep dark red colour with deep brick red hue – quite advanced showing some early signs of prematurely ageing. Aromas of stewed fruits, cedar, chocolate and a hint of leather. The palate lacks the voluptuous fruit characters that the Lehmann reds became renown for in the mid to late 1990’s. Flavours of plum, dark chocolate, cedar and spice with a relatively dry finish and moderate length. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, spice and cedar.
