| Totally opaque black purple colour with deep black purple hue showing excellent cling to the sides of the glass. The nose displays slightly subdued aromas of liquorice, dark cherry, blackberry and confectionary. The palate displays good body weight, although it’s certainly not in the same league as the monstrous 2009 Warrabilla Durifs – in comparison it could be best described as more refined example of the varietal. Flavours of dark cherry, liquorice, blackberry and spice. Dryish but fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry and spice. A very youthful Durif. |
