2007 HOWARD PARK ABERCROMBIE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
This wine was matured in French oak barriques of which 40% were new, for a period of 20 months. Opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays very perfumed aromas of violets and blackcurrant followed by some cedar, tobacco and spice notes. Medium bodied, the palate displays both elegance and refinement with flavours of blackcurrant, spice and cedar with just a hint of cigar box also present. Dry, fine grained tannins provide good structure. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and cedar.
