2007 CRAIGLEE SHIRAZ
The colour of this wine is a relatively light deep crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, plum, cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate lacks the concentration and depth of it’s excellent 2006 predecessor. Very elegant flavours of blackberry, plum and spice. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry and spice. A disappointing effort given the wines pedigree and price point.
