2005 GEOFF MERRILL RESERVE SHIRAZ
Matured for 24 months in a combination of French and American oak. Opaque black dark red colour with very deep black dark red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of mocha, dark plum and liquorice allsorts followed by some vanillin end notes. Full bodied with generous palate flavours of blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some mocha and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of blackberry, spice, liquorice and blackpepper.
