| This elegantly styled Coonawarra Shiraz saw maturation in a combination of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads. Deep dark red purple colour with dark crimson mauve hue. Subdued aromas of liquorice allsorts, confectionary and plum with a hint of spice also emerging. Medium weight with elegant palate structure the wine displays flavours of spice, blackberry and confectionary followed by some peppery characters on the finish. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins but balanced. Aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice. |
